Pixie Class enjoy Art Week

The children in Pixie Class enjoyed a week of exploring Vincent van Gogh's portrait 'A Starry Night'.

The children made their own salt dough stars and painted them with the colours from the portrait.
As a class we idividually coloured a small part of the portrait and then put all of the pieces together to make a collaboration piece.
They also explored making different shades of blue and learnt different types of brush strokes to create their own version of the portrait.
